Riga's Letter to Liviina, 2
Hand-delivered by Riga to Liviina on the morning of June 28, 437, in the ritual chambers below the Library.
The note is folded in four, the ink only recently dried. It eskews the Abyssal this time, written fully in looping Druidic.
"Dear Liviina,
I hope Finder Jumalin was not too embarrassed or embarrasing a courier. The opportunity was too juicy to ignore.
Know, however, that the means of delivery alone were in jest, not the spirit.
It dawned on me, in these hectic days of root and malachite, that I oh-so-begrudgingly entrusted to your care whom I hold dearest for longer than I have all but one, and Bethany rightfully sees Keeper Egumelo as her 'Nana'. Now that the cuckoos shall have a harder time sneaking in the nest, I see little reason to await upon the good graces and auspices of the restaureateurs.
Flem has kindly taken upon his royal soul to see the drawings retrieved and enshrined. I would advise caution and tact in styming him, as well as a ready supply of tuna. Those wings allow for retaliatory pissing in the most unconsciable nooks, as I'm sure several of your Disciples have and shall learn.
Please extend my thanks to the Union artisan for the Stationery's prototype. 'Tis value goes beyond coin, and it makes departing Nayora just a touch more bearable.
Awaiting a list of names to deniably scandalize at the ball,
Riga Tabris
P.S. Neither heels nor claws are an acceptable excuse to avoid dancing, I am told.
P.P.S. Trick has inspired me to devise a new, more specialized anti-possession ward. In the process, I saw fit to dispel some lingering misgivings about our late Vitral. The original Ordo was subsumed some five years ago, as best as I could determine. I shall inform Noska once we camp."
