#alex 4/17/25: BugSaw knows that the Steel Gulf is named that because its coast is filled with sharp rocks, too dangerous to traverse with ships safely. There's a good number of small villages along it, and a few larger towns towards the east, near the mountain sub-capital of Troval.

The steel Gulf has been developing more recently, having been wholly destroyed by chromatic dragons taking over to create their lairs during the draconic wars, and was abandoned for two centuries.
