The Whale Temple
Ravik. You'd recognize Sardior's eye anywhere. You've read your fair share of old literature, you've seen various depictions of the God's symbology over the centuries. This here is a particularly egregious piece of sacrilege. Starting at 12 o clock and going clockwise, the symbols appear to represent:
1- Kossuth
2- Midrán
3- Tiamat
4- Seradez
5- Kelemvor
6- Gaia
7- Katya
8- Sardior
You walk into an expansive room. Walls of ancient calcite bricks and rust-red bricks, some polished to the point of reflecting images; marble floors with beautiful textures of endless intertwining waves. Two small gutters run along the ground hugging the room's walls. They appear to have accumulated moss and vegetation-like slime, as well as small shards of multi-colored somethings. Coral?
Small white, nearly-transparent crystals in the shape of half octahedrons are spread out along the wall in levels, or layers. A line approximately at Trick's height, another at 12 feet, third at 24... The room's darkness makes it nearly impossible to see it's ceiling even with your darkvision, but it appears to exceed 60 feet. Looking up is like staring into the night sky.
Floating just at the edge of your darkvision, as though stuck there by magic or invisible ropes, is a gigantic creature- no, the skeleton of a gigantic creature, extending from one side of the room to the other, easily 60 feet. A spine nearly as thick as you are tall supports a comparatively thin skull, almost like four closed claws extending from its base. Two paws extend from what could be shoulders, extending into fingers that are twice as long as the rest of the arm.
Corals of multiple colors and shapes flower inside of what was once a thoracic cage, some emitting fluorescent lights of blue and green hues. They oscillate inside of this creature's chest almost as if trying to pump life into it.
Three pillars extend from the center of the room, climbing fifteen feet before stopping, and two structures, like divider walls, extend just as tall right behind the pillars- they resemble waves, climbing tall in the direction of the coast.
On the floor in the center of the room there appears to be sone mosaic, hard to see from the entrance.
Behind the Curtains
Ravik peers into a dark room, roughly 12 feet tall. It is octogonal, with a flat ceiling, made out of the same materials as the rest of the temple, and possesses two layers of those white crystals. The northern wall seems to have been excavated, and opens up into another tunnel. Two things of particular note are present in this room.
First, a statue, approximately 7 feet tall, depicts a humanoid with fish-like characteristics; a tail, fins growing alongside its arms, and webbed hands and feet. The individual wears simple and loose clothes, a robe beautifully carved into stone. Small patterns of waves and shells spread out throughout the cloth, and you notice some shells are pieces of mother-of-pearl fitted into the statue.
The figure holds out a scroll, extended ahead of itself and with some sort of text on the surface. Marks, like scratches, make reading hard in some parts, but not impossible from up close.
Second, there is a raised stone platform at the center of the room. Marked by runes that Ravik knows to be draconic, some of them are filled in with a green stone, maybe Malachite or most likely emerald, but most of the runes are empty. This does not appear to be text, but some form of magical array or equation.
Scroll on statue: Trick reads it out in Common
"Mother, guide my path
For I am blind.
Mother, fill my mind
For you know its mold.
And allow me the wisdom to accept
That which you dare show."
As Trick finishes reading, the statue's eyes begins glowing bright blue. The circular platform's runes begin glowing one by one, spreading out starting from the point closest to the statue. BugSaw sees a wave of Conjuration magic emanating from the circle as the light spreads. The light starts growing in strength, starting fully dim.
The Lost Temple
A temple in the middle of a large cavern. This temple is old, a long room, separated by a narrow channel of water that end in layered pools that have connection to the sea.
There are two caved in wings of the temple.
