Midrán's Domain
From the audience with Midrán.
Midrán's Domain: The chamber the party enters is impossibly large, covered in icy fog. Rising up from the ground is a mountain of crystal, ice, and stone that also is Midrán. The mountain is described as impossibly tall, surpassing the distance they fell. Within this domain, vaguely humanoid elemental titans, as grandiose as they are abstract, march to and fro, carrying blocks the size of villages on their shoulders. A river of lava flows down from the mountain's peak, transporting barges filled with jewels, tools (both new and used), vases, pillars, glass, and shifting, abstract lines which are understood to be ideas. A wind blows from the peak, carrying the sounds of bells and metallic hammering, accompanied by a visible, bone-piercing cold. Midrán refers to this place as "my hall". The ground beneath the party is initially covered in soft, knee-high snow. During the audience, eight wide spots open up around the group, revealing holes into darkness tens of feet deep, from which steam rises and solidifies into intricate ice columns; one of these columns is damaged. The ground itself can rise up, lifting the party to be face-to-face with the god's eyes. Strange lines, representing ideas, crawl out through the air and circle the platform and the god. Snowflakes can also fall upward.
