The Hunters of Double Bay

Also known as the Wardens of Double Bay. Threatened / entrapped by an "enemy most ancient" / "lost children"

The bays of Ytesh are treacherous, with its layered coasts and nature that tends to hide danger. While the The Ruby Disciples and Imperial Guard are busy with other areas, some sections of the Bay are left unprotected.
Blood Hunters are an invention of the past, inspired vaguely by the creation of Dragonborn. With blood as the focus for a series of rituals, Potential Hunters are fused with magical materials, specific spells with nature unknown outside of Hunter walls, blessings from clerics and blood of Sorcerers (mostly voluntary, sometimes donated as a means to alleviate criminal sentences);
Therefore, warriors capable of utilizing their blood -- and the blood of monsters or other beings -- are born, capable of altering the course of battle, hunting creatures better than the common man, and pulling knowledge about the world and its horrors directly from the Weave that surrounds all of reality.
The Hunters of Double Bay, specifically, tend to be what is called a Mutant, a kind of Hunter capable of altering their physical composition by imbibing alchemical components they produce themselves.
The Hunters of Double Bay have a good relationship with local populations, that see their value as protectors in spite of the nebulous alterations to which they subject themselves.
