Tommen
A member of The Cult of the Wandering Shard who was captured after the failed attack on The Library-Museum in Nayora.
Interrogated first by The Ruby Disciples, then by Ravik Jumalin minutes before his scheduled execution.
After the noose tightened, he turned into a Shardborn Angel, who shed Tommen's skin like clothes.

According to Liviina Akra, after examining the last unknown fate that Tommen was host to, the theory is now that the man was never a real person, but an individual "grown" by the Grave Lotus Seed and given a "soul".

Basic information
Tommen is described as a single human, rather young, approximately in his 20s. Shaggy beginnings of a beard and wears brown worker's clothes. Dispassionate until he speaks of his beliefs.
Becoming a cult member
Tommen was not from Nayora but from Brindale, which is far west. His family (wife and child/ren) died in a fire. He claims nobody came to help during the fire, except the Vitral. Whom he felt indebted to. He became a member of the group he calls the "Wardens of Truth" after the truths spoken by the Vitral, who saved him "just made more sense".
He was present at The Howling Pit and claims to have helped kill kobold children there. He didn't enjoy it, but his beliefs that this would help the world become a safe place for all made it worth while.
From Riga's Pissing Contest with Liviina
Riga Tabris's best guess, with how Tommen's skin was shed like clothes, is that either this had already replaced Tommen from within and had only 'stopped' its growth temporarily, or it was implanted as some sort of 'seed' that grew rapidly on a certain trigger. The fact he was interrogated by Disciples and nobody noticed it means it was either undetectable, cloaked somehow, or the interrogators were in on it.
Disciple Research
- Tommen never actually existed as a person bron in Brindale. An empy shell, produced by a Grave Lotus and implanted with enough memories to be functional.
