Maika Jumalin
Ravik's mother, the Runekeeper of their clan.
From Ravik's Memories
His mother, large and formiddable as she stands over him, her hands on his shoulders. She is small for a goliath, only six feet five. Her skin is a light grey and she has brilliantly blue eyes, very much the source of her son's own blue ones. Her face is heavily tattooed, but her scalp is not bare as Ravik's, she has thick bluish black hair gathered at the nape of her neck in a thick braid.
From the Ritual at Runekeeper's Home
Her fingers are covered in glittery ink stains, some so old not even a dip in holy water mixed with acid could wash off. Each calloused spot is right where he remembers it, each hardened muscle from hands accustomed to endless, fine work that would have destroyed the hands of lesser people years before. Each marking and rune on her face and arms, like an endless cascade of stories that branch off into miniscule tales of their own. Looking at her, just like many Runekeepers, is like staring at a table covered in open books.
