Crimson Moss is a common ingredient in healing potions. It is said to grow in areas with high concentration of iron, which is what gives its coloration, and may even be crafted into weak magnets. However, if mashed and boiled in just the right way, its solid leftovers can be made into a powder similar to dried blood, which when consumed with alcohol, cancels out most of the negative effects of the former while giving a boost of perceived energy. It's especially addictive due to the added alcohol consumption, and can actually lead to liver cancer, as its natural restorative properties go completely whack when processed in this manner. Common street names are "Bloodbeer", "Mossdust", or Rustpuch.,

Guaraná, or Jungle-Eyes, is a fruit with a red-orange skin that splits during growth, revealing a peculiar white flesh with a dark seed that resembles eyes. It has some amount of caffeine and is commonly used in place of coffee in some regions, being processed into pastes or sticks that are mixed into food and drink. Wizards may often cultivate them for both this effect as well as its other useful property; it can be used as an ingredient in brewing Potions of Comprehension. They're not quite street drugs, but Riga has heard of Guaraná being mixed into other substances to enhance the addictive effect, due to the presence of caffeine.,

Fish-vines or Bubble Algae are a kind of algae that naturally captures bubbles of oxygen, similar to how some insects do to live underwater. It is commonly used in making potions of water breathing, but some nefarious alchemists may refine it into a substance that enhances the body's oxygen intake, aiding in the user's stamina. Like other substances that help clear sinuses, constant use may lead to one feeling short of breath or suffocated without it, causing addiction.
