In the exact moment Ravik finishes drawing the eight, unknown sigil, something unexpected happens. The charcoal... Melts off of the page, like oil upon water. It drips down before disintegrating mid-air.

#alex 4/18/25: Similarly, trying to copy the symbol via magic results in the symbol being deleted, even from a Filocite Shard. Theorized due to powerful abjuration magics over the Temple.

#alex 4/17/25: Referred to as the Broken Mother, perhaps the Shattered Guardian.

#alex 4/20/25 Her name is SERADEZ. Goddes of the sea and storms, malachite, the mind, and Fate. She's responsible for giving the first mortals sapience, and the weaving of the Astral Sea, which was her domain and responsibility. When the portal to the Far Realm first appeared, she was (self-)appointed as its Guardian, but was corrupted between the Creation and Alignment Era. The other Gods considered her dead by all intents and purposes and quarantined her behind a conceptual barrier, which however does not prevent her shedding malachite shards. Some event during the Great Draconic Wars awoke her once more.

Her name is under the same abjuration magic as her symbol, and pronouncing it causes effects similar to a Thaumathurgy cantrip on steroids.
