Hexblood

Hags are sterile due to what aspects of the Weave and collective conscious they manifest and are manifested from. Thusly, beyond gemmation or spontaneous, conceptual "birth", Hags can only reproduce with mortals by creating Hexbloods.

Usually mortal children, bargained for or 'cursed' when very young, over the years of exposure to a Hag's magic and presence in the Weave, Hexbloods begin to change. They grow 'crowns' on their brow, of bramble wood that appears alive, and become capable of instinctually wielding hag magic, such as Hex and Disguise Self.
