Halflings

Halflings live a dual nature; when young, their culture glorifies adventure, an exploration of everything the world has to offer. However, when older, they return to the hole they called a home, using the resources collected through their explorations to live a calm, relaxing, and most importantly and contrasting with the humble appearance of their homes, luxurious rest of their lives.

The Halfling shires frequently position themselves amidst nature, living alongside their Firbolg neighbors, so much taller but with a comforting calmness. In a Halfling community, it's common to find many renowned adventurers, archeologists, navigators, cartographers, or specialists known for their apparently useless knowledge in a narrow field of study; and alongside these titles, a True humility, incapable of recognizing their achievements as anything beyond 'childhood malarkey'. After all, this life sitting in front of a fireplace drinking a good wine produced by their neighbor is the best they've had thus far.
