Bulette

Normal
[Riga]
She knows Bulettes are not typically immune to any damage type. Their hunting style typically consists of burrowing into the earth before jumping out with extreme speed (partly how they get their name). The true danger is not just when they jump out, but also where they land.
Description
The creature looks sleek and bulky, like a mixture between a giant mole, plate armor, and a rhinoceros. Noticeably, its hard plated armor is... strange. [Aberrant] Instead of growing with straight scratches and line similarly to nails, its surface is marked by wobbled, wavy lines, and there's a faint purple hue to it that Riga knows should not be there. [/Aberrant] It grunts, huffing, before leaping across the waterway with the speed of a bullet.
Riga knows Bulettes typically hunt in environments with softer substrates, such as dirt, sand, clay, or softer stones such as sandstone. While their shells, which are made of chitin, are very strong to the point of being comparable to steel and their bite forces are capable of tearing plate armor off of a knight's body, they rarely if ever try to burrow through rock, and if they do, it is at a much slower pace.
Riga does not know of any common mutation or variation of Rock-eating bulettes, at least not this far near the Equator. She knows that they typically have small nests of at most two pups at a time, and the mother tends to teach them how to hunt.
[Harvesting Ingredients] :
Aberrant Bulette Plating:
This chitinous material appears to have grown in an unnatural manner, forming wavy patterns not unlike paints mixed on water. It possesses a faint purple sheen to it, as opposed to Bulettes' natural steel gray.
Aberrant Bulette Pup Plating:
As they are not fully grown, the Pups' plating is slightly softer and more pliable. Still, it offers considerable defense.
Aberrant Bulette Stomach:
This large stomach is multi-chambered, similar to cows. The interior is filled with powerful acid, and covered in hardened chitin ridges, possibly used to crush stone.
- Also contained a Grave Lotus seed.
Aberrant Node:
Where the Bulettes' typical tremor-sensing organ typically rests at the base of the brain, you instead find a mass of dark pulsating, cancerous flesh. Riga manages to excise it successfully, but it has to be placed into the box of preservation or it will certainly rot away.
