House Veyrovar

Riga recognizes the flaming hawk as most likely representing a Phoenix, a legendary form of Fire Elemental that rarely manifests in modern times. Nearly all Phoenixes are ancient, stuck in a cycle of renewal.

Riga has heard of some noble houses that take on the Phoenix as their heraldry, but one in particular snags at her mind. House Veyrovar is a well-established family of Fire Genasi, dating back all the way to The Maturing. They survived through the tribulations of the Draconic Wars, like a phoenix that never dies. Thing is, the House is in Bakir. Why would one of them be here?

The Veyrovar have long been key trading partners to the Ansallour family. Belquior's father's indiscretions nearly caused a fracture. The very thought that Demoris Veyrovar could have died in Nayora has Belquior panicking and terrified.
