This Oval Onyx may be used as the material components for Summon Undead.

This gem contains a mote of shadow energy. When you take a Utilize action to break the gem, 3d6+1 Wretched Sorrowsworn are summoned, and the gem ceases to be magical. The creatures appear in unoccupied spaces as close to the broken gem as possible, understand your languages, obey your commands, and take their turn immediately after you on your Initiative count. The creatures disappear after 1 hour, when they die, or when you dismiss them as a Bonus Action.
