Thurvik's Blade of Twinned Element

Thurvik's Blade of Twinned Element

Dagger, uncommon (requires attunement)

This dagger has been forged by copper and steel by Ravik Jumalin during a trial of Midrán, overseen by the Flamesmith Gillar Lezer. Its metal never feels warm nor cold, and touching its blade feels like grasping air itself.

This dagger deals 1d4 fire plus 1d4 cold damage instead of piercing damage.

Immediately before making an attack with this weapon, if you have a free hand, you may choose to split its essence. The weapon becomes two daggers. Instead of the above damage, one deals 1d4 fire damage, while the other deals 1d4 cold damage.

While wielding both daggers, you may use your two-weapon fighting attack to throw the weapon instead of making a melee attack. If either of the daggers is thrown, it disappears after the attack, and the blade's essence becomes one in the dagger still in your hands.

(Though it has left the forge's embrace, you feel the potential for growth in this blade.)

The blade bears the twin runes of Ravik and Thurvik Jumalin.
